No. NavWord only returns search results for NavWords that have not yet been registered. Registered NavWords will direct traffic directly to the URL of your choice. Is NavWord free? Yes. During beta, you can register as many NavWords as you want for free. There may be small anual fees in the future for select words to prevent abuse. |
NavWord
is a domain name alternitive. Each day, about 787,052 new domains are registered. Well under half are actually used for anything. This is making it very hard to find a decent domain name. Most new business already are settling for domain names with dashes, or with a ".us" instead of a ".com". NavWord can't change that. But we can make an abstract domain easier to find. Choose from a fresh field of keywords--A single character, a word, a phrase, or a number. This "NavWord" can be setup to take users directly to any URL you choose. Say goodbye to long URLs Many users choose to register their name to be forwarded to their blogs, personal pages or social networking pages with long URLs.
